A 70+ year old owner-run distribution company that is headquartered in Spokane, WA. They have 9 locations across 4 states and around $40M in revenue. With thousands of SKUs they have a diverse and deep customer base and continue to experience growth in demand. Two distinct revenue streams also provide for unique opportunities for this growing and thriving business. Their focus is on solutions-based selling through a deep well of product knowledge, proven expertise and ongoing employee training. Their customer-focus means they approach each customer’s needs as a problem to be solved rather than a sale to be made.
The Sr. VP of Finance & Administration will report directly to the President and will be the key member of the executive team tasked with analyzing and understanding data and providing recommendations to improve the company’s revenues and profitability. This will naturally lead to recommending investment strategies for company growth that could include new branches, customer types, services or product categories, or possibly acquisitions. The role will also evolve to oversee and manage the company’s accounting function that includes close, financial reporting, GL accounting, taxes, payroll and benefits.
Requiring a candidate who has a Bachelor’s degree in either Accounting or Finance and at least 10 years of progressive experience and leadership experience in a related industry (distribution, wholesale) with large volumes of inventory.
