Vincent started his accounting career as a junior accountant for a fine dining restaurant group that also operated a wholesale bakery business. He worked at the corporate office on the accounting team for ten years. Vincent would eventually work his way up to Staff Accountant working all aspects of the accounting cycle. This included transactional entries for A/R & A/P, journal entries, GL reconciliations, weekly reporting, month-close, year-end close, etc. He would also help to create accounting policies and train on-site bookkeepers. Vincent left the company to join a different restaurant group that operated over 40 restaurants nationwide. He was hired on as a Senior Accountant and was responsible for the financials of a portfolio that included seven restaurants. He worked closely with onsite managers while also reporting to the executive team at the corporate level. Along with month-end financials, he was responsible for various GL reconciliations and a variance analysis and write-up for his portfolio. Vincent found his way back to his previous employer after being offered the position as their Corporate Controller. He spent the next six years managing the accounting department and creating processes. Vincent’s last position was as a hotel Property Controller managing all aspects of the accounting and finance department.
Vincent grew up in the Pacific Northwest and enjoys being outdoors. He likes going on hikes and finding new places to camp. You can usually find him on crabbing trips with his family once the season starts for Dungeness crab. Vincent also loves to cook and try new foods from different cuisines. During the summertime you can probably catch him at a Mariners game or on the softball field. |
