CLIENT SUMMARYOur client is a well-known national institution that provides diversified financial services to clients of all sizes and stages. They are growing a venture capital arm locally that focuses on building funds and investing/managing alternative assets on behalf of limited partners. With billions in AUM, they are expanding the number and type of funds and product offerings to more alternative products to meet local need.
POSITION SUMMARYThe Senior Financial Analyst is a key accounting and finance member of their newest fund offering that is a private equity backed fund. The SFA will manage the daily operations of the fund, working very closely with a third-party fund administrator. Responsibilities include daily fund accounting review, cash forecasting, reviewing investment transactions, leverage reporting, financial reporting, investment valuations, and more. This is a unique opportunity to assist in the growth and development of their product expansion.
This position pays a base salary between $80-105k with a bonus of 20% and offers medical, dental, vision, time off and retirement benefits. QUALIFICATIONS SUMMARYThis role requires a candidate with a bachelor’s degree in either accounting or finance and 3-5 years of experience in accounting for private credit, venture capital, private equity funds, or related assets. A CPA and large public accounting firm experience are very nice to have. Additionally, experience working with third-party administrators is a plus, as is the desire to improve broken processes.
