CLIENT SUMMARY

Our client is the Pacific Northwest’s premier destination for dermatology and skin care. This private-equity backed company consists of a team of operational and leadership professionals providing in-house and local functions that align each of their locations with their colleagues to allow their services providers to focus on care, not running their business. They provide integrated, aligned corporate functions for all locations and are actively growing throughout the region.

POSITION SUMMARY

The team is hiring a Senior Accountant to report directly to the Controller. This is a broad-scoping role overseeing accounting, reporting, and compliance for all of the company’s locations. Some responsibilities include month-end close JE’s, accruals, commissions, and reconciliations; preparation and analysis of many monthly financial statements; and assisting the Controller in developing accounting processes, procedures, and policies especially as the business grows and expands. 

QUALIFICATIONS SUMMARY

The Controller needs someone with the ability to work with complex financial information with minimal direct supervision. You will be a self-starter, analytical and forward-thinking, and have the following qualifications at a minimum:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance
  • At least five (5) years of progressive corporate accounting experience
  • Exposure to full month-end close and financial statement preparation, preferably in a multi-location business environment, possibly in healthcare.
