CLIENT SUMMARY

A leader in after-market distribution of their specific group of products, our client was privately-owned for decades until recent purchase by private-equity. Currently with revenues over $100M and targeting continued growth via acquisition, their employees love and are very passionate about their space. With 7 national warehouses they can reach 95% of the US within 2 days and they put their customers first, wherever they may be.

POSITION SUMMARY

With recent organic and growth through acquisition, our client is seeking to add to their team a Sr. Accountant to help bridge the gap between Accounting leadership and the transactional group. This is a key role in both the short term and the long term. At first this person will be responsible for essential GL Accounting JE’s, recons and financial reporting assistance while in the long term will learn the business and be instrumental in assisting with M&A activity, process improvement and cross-functional business support.

QUALIFICATIONS SUMMARY

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance from a four-year accredited college or university.
  • Three (3) years of experience in corporate or outsourced accounting in a GAAP, accrual-based accounting environment with exposure to recurring and complex journal entries and reconciliations.
  • A breadth of knowledge of GL accounting and a drive to continue to learn.
