CLIENT SUMMARY

Our client is one of Seattle’s largest and most influential commercial real estate firms. Founded in 2006 as a startup formed by a few market veterans, this company has been on a tear ever since. They invest in, develop, and manage magnificent properties from two offices across four markets in three states, totaling over 35 properties. They partner with nationally recognized firms and their properties have won multiple awards.

POSITION SUMMARY

This is a newly created Property Accountant role reporting to an energetic and experienced Property Accounting Manager. Overseeing full accounting and reporting for a group of properties, the position is open due to the acquisition of recent properties and the need to grow the group. The role will also manage the budget creation, review lease language and billing information, and help support the audit. This person will be given full ownership over the accounting accuracy of their properties.

QUALIFICATIONS SUMMARY

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance from four-year accredited college or university.
  • At least three (3) years at a mid-sized company with broad general ledger accounting experience.
  • Preference to someone with commercial real estate accounting exposure or experience.
