Jordan left Evergreen State College in 2003 with a dream to live in Seattle and be in a rock & roll band. After years of noisy nights, he and his band had toured the country, made hundreds of dollars and amassed dozens of devoted fans. In the meantime, he realized that he may need a backup plan.
Over a decade ago, Jordan began his second, more lucrative career as a corporate accountant, specializing in small business financial management. Beginning as a warehouse specialist, Jordan discovered a knack for inventory management that eventually led into operations, then sales, and then to finance, where he found a home in Excel formulas and QuickBooks reports. After the birth of his daughter in 2015, Jordan moved to part time and went back to school. While studying accounting, he gained academic understanding of the work he had been doing professionally for years. In 2017, Jordan earned his Certificate of Accountancy from the Foster School of Business at UW. By 2018 he resumed his career as corporate accountant. Over the years Jordan has been honored to collaborate with mission-driven companies focused on improving lives through good business. He takes pride in supporting owners in chasing their dreams and accomplishing their goals. He specializes in small business finance, merchandizing, wholesale and retail operations and is always looking for a chance to roll up his sleeves and help out. Jordan grew up a huge Twins fan outside of Minneapolis, MN and has lived in Washington since 2000. Now a Mariners fan, he enjoys cooking, bike riding and spending time with his family. You can still find him playing in bands around Seattle. |
