POSITION SUMMARYOur client is seeking to backfill their vacated Group Controller position. This key role will report directly to the tenured CFO/shareholder and will be responsible to ensure that the company’s financial reporting and accounting operations are complete, accurate, and timely. Additionally, this person will provide financial analysis in tandem with the Finance Manager to all of the business’s departments in support of functional business objectives. Managing a team of six (6), this person will continue to provide leadership and infrastructure as the company and department grow.
QUALIFICATIONS SUMMARYMinimum requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance and at least 2 years of related full ownership of the financial close and reporting cycle at a $100M+ size business. Additionally, experience in any industry that has a high volume/low dollar environment is key. Strong people management desire and abilities along with demonstrated organizational, communication and process improvement qualities must be present.
