Garry began his career working in Denali National Park, overseeing daily cash and sales reporting for multiple properties run by Aramark as an Accounting Manager. He then moved to Montana, where he worked for a large land development company. Garry was the Accounting Manager for real estate sales and construction companies, as well as a jet servicing company. Garry then joined Clark Nuber, a CPA firm, where he was a Tax Associate working with manufacturing, real estate, and high net worth clients.

In his most recent role, he helped scale a Seattle-based company from $50mm to $120mm in revenue. Starting as the Controller with one bookkeeper, he left the company as Director of Finance, with a staff of 13 between the accounting and analytics teams. Garry enjoys getting into the details but can also pull up and explain the big picture with everyone from staff to CEO/Ownership. He has experience working with banking and other service providers.

Garry grew up in Daytona Beach, Florida. He attended the University of Florida where he obtained a BA, focusing on finance. A long road trip led to Alaska, and eventually to Montana. While in Montana he earned his Master’s in Accounting. Garry has lived and worked in Seattle for over 12 years. He and his wife now live in Port Ludlow, WA. He enjoys playing both the piano and violin and sailing around the Puget Sound area.
