The Company is a small (under $50M) multi-generation family-owned and operated businesses in the manufacturing and distribution space. They have a culture of design and ingenuity and hold several patents for their innovative product ideas.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Director of Finance is a strategic business partner while also providing detailed accounting operations oversight. This person will have primary day-to-day responsibility for reporting, planning, implementing, and managing all financial-related activities of the Company and orchestrating the financial architecture to best support short and long-term objectives. This role is a part of the executive team and responsible for developing and managing the financial strategy of the company. 

QUALIFICATIONS SUMMARY

The following are requirements for all applicants:
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
  • Strong strategic leader with financial planning and analysis skills including developing, implementing, and monitoring key performance metrics (KPIs) such as inventory turns
  • Manage preparation of financial statements and internal controls
  • Outstanding leadership experience and management of accounting teams
  • Manufacturing and distribution background
  • Track record of process improvement
  • Manage external relationships including accounting, banking, broker, and other external relationships
