A non-profit serving communities with a mission to partner with families to build healthy foundations for children. The organization offers high quality, leading edge early childhood educational and therapeutic services.

POSITION SUMMARY


The Director of Finance will perform financial management, strategic leadership, risk management, and administration functions. The position will manage the finance team staff to ensure smooth daily financial operations and prepare financial models for grant applications. Additionally, the person will provide financial operating results and guidance to the Executive Director and Board of Directors as well as maintain external relationships.

QUALIFICATIONS SUMMARY


The following are requirements for all applicants:
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting.
  • 8+ years of demonstrated experience in financial management, nonprofit preferred.
  • Skilled at fund accounting and knowledgeable in all areas of nonprofit accounting principles.
  • Ability to prepare and analyze financial projections.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of accepted accounting rules, practices, tax laws, and reporting requirements.
  • Management/Supervisory skills with the ability to onboard and lead a team to excellence.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and plan workload and projects to consistently meet deadlines.
  • Competent computer skills required to perform essential functions listed above.
