CLIENT SUMMARYOur client is a $30M+, high-growth SaaS company that creates web-based tools to empower real estate agents. Their products have all been built from the ground up and are grounded in their real estate business origins, meaning they all keep their end-use customer in mind from ideation to execution. With two suites of services and eight overall products, they are in growth mode, both organic and via acquisition.
POSITION SUMMARYThis is a newly created Director of Finance role carved out of the need for help due to the fast growth of the company. Reporting directly to the CFO and with consistent access to the executive team, this person will build the budgeting/forecasting, recurring reporting and ad-hoc financial modeling, and analysis processes and infrastructure mostly from the ground up. With solid a accounting team an infrastructure in place, much of the guardrails are already in place and ready for the CFO to hand this work off to a dedicated SaaS FP&A professional.
QUALIFICATIONS SUMMARYFirst and foremost, they need someone who’s “been there, built that” when it comes to SaaS company FP&A infrastructure. The ideal traits of this leader will be intellectually curious, highly detail-oriented, and will have a poised, executive-level communication style and ability.
Tangible qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, 10+ years of progressive corporate FP&A experience across all three FP&A buckets, exposure to SaaS revenue streams, and experience in at least a $50M company. |
