CLIENT SUMMARYA privately-owned specialty manufacturer located in Woodinville, our client is the leading supplier in their industry. The first manufacturer of their kind in the country 25 years ago, they have grown to build a state-of-the-art manufacturing plant with international distribution. They sell their premium products to the wholesale, retail, and consumer markets across multiple well-known brands.
POSITION SUMMARYThe Director of Finance will report directly to the Founder and CEO of the company as the leading Accouting and Finance employee. Tasked with overseeing accounting operations and financial reporting and strategy, this role will immediately be part of the Management Team. With solid manufacturing and systems infrastructure in place, the challenges in the position will be to help the company scale processes, procedures and supporting systems as they continue their strong pattern of growth.
QUALIFICATIONS SUMMARYThe ideal profile in this role is someone who has worked in a mid-sized, privately-owned manufacturing business in a lead Accounting or Finance role. Someone with strong background in Accounting who has experience working in an entrepreneurial setting relaying the challenges of scaling a business to an owner will be very helpful. Time working through technical inventory accounting and reporting issues in a hands-on way will benefit both parties greatly.
