CLIENT SUMMARY


A nonprofit social service organization in Portland, Oregon dedicated to assisting individuals and families. They have a supportive, caring, friendly culture with excellent benefits including the ability to work for home four days per week. The organization has been servicing the greater Portland area for decades.​

POSITION SUMMARY


As a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, the Controller provides leadership and expertise in the development and monitoring of financial strategies. The Controller works closely with the Board Finance Committee and supervises a bookkeeper. They should have strong experience with QuickBooks and grants management. In addition to producing monthly financial statements, they will perform budgets, forecasting, and cash management. Additionally, the Controller maintains appropriate policies and controls and outside service provider relationships.

QUALIFICATIONS SUMMARY


  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required. 
  • 7+ years accounting experience
