CLIENT SUMMARY

For nearly 40 years, this family-owned company has been pioneering the access solutions industry. Now a $50M+ company, they are continuing to grow as they serve the nation with a wide variety of solutions across the residential, commercial, industrial, and recreational industries. With warehouse and distribution space in multiple locations, they are based in the South Sound and they look to continue to expand their market presence.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Controller will support company goals and growth in matters relating to overall company accounting functions. Directly managing a team of three, this role reports to the CFO and is responsible for maintaining and providing accurate financial reporting in accordance with US GAAP. With an emphasis on implementing and maintaining strong internal controls and developing and maintaining accurate standard cost data, this person will participate with leadership in strategic planning initiatives. 

QUALIFICATIONS SUMMARY

Ideally, this is a seasoned manufacturing industry Controller with at least 10 years of prior related experience and exposure to management and leadership in the areas of developing a team, cost/inventory accounting, accounting operations oversight, and general financial reporting. A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance is required and further qualifications like an MBA/CPA are highly preferred.
