CLIENT SUMMARYOur client is a privately-owned manufacturer of temporary relocatable steel structures. With a proprietary line, their buildings are 100% custom, can withstand hurricane force winds and seismic events, and are infinitely expandable. Using state of the art technology for faster manufacturing, this owner-run company caters to large general contractors and the US government and has plans for immediate growth.
POSITION SUMMARYThe Controller will be the number one Finance position at the company. Managing and leading a team of two in Accounting, this role will report directly to the owners and will oversee Accounting Operations, Financial Reporting, and all FP&A. Additionally, this person will partner with ownership to execute and provide guidance on the company’s financial strategy. The complexity in this role lies in the manufacturing accounting environment, specifically accounting for inventory and managing the WIP reporting process.
QUALIFICATIONS SUMMARYThe company requires a candidate have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance and progressive for-profit corporate accounting experience in a similar manufacturing or cost-allocation environment. They’re seeking a solutions-oriented person who passionately undertakes growth goals as challenges and who takes an assertive approach to achieving results with a high attention to detail.
