CLIENT SUMMARYA pioneer in the development of their product over 70 years ago, our client is an internationally-based manufacturer and distributor of propulsion technology. With global sales and full after sales service and support, the local office manages sales, parts, and service for the Americas.
POSITION SUMMARYThe Controller will provide hands-on finance support and high-quality control of financial operations for the US operations. The role will interact across all levels of the organization and will maintain a strong relationship to the parent company. Reporting to the GM of the Americas, primary responsibilities include full ownership of GL Accounting and financial reporting; management of the internal control environment, state, and local taxes and the budgeting/forecasting process; and commercial business decision support through business analysis and financial modeling.
QUALIFICATIONS SUMMARYA degreed Accountant with prior Controllership experience at a mid-sized company, preferably one with high levels of inventory. Someone who is both a hands-on transactional accountant with ability and desire to dive into strategic financial analysis. Lastly, cultural sensitivity is required given the international customer base and headquarters of the role.
