POSITION SUMMARY

The Controller will oversee the company’s GL, costing, financial reporting, financial analysis, budgeting/forecasting, and shared services. This is a complex medical billing environment and this person will partner with the Medical Billing Manager and the Accounting Manager to perform financial analysis on costing and profitability by project. Additionally, the Controller will assist the Managing Partner and Project Administrator on special projects as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS SUMMARY

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting from a four-year accredited college or university.
  • At least 10 years of experience in progressive financial accounting positions, and at least 3 years in a small-mid size company as a Controller.
  • Supervisory experience over small accounting teams is required and experience in a clinical laboratory setting is nice to have, though can be replaced by experience in a project reporting setting.
  • Other qualifications include experience with Tier 2 accounting systems and Excel/data manipulation skills.
