Their team provides property management and real estate sales services through three divisions: rentals, HOA and maintenance. With a very family-focused culture they have extremely high tenure with their employees and leadership provided by their 2nd generation President. POSITION SUMMARYThe Controller will be the company’s #1 Accounting and Finance leader – a part of the Senior Leadership Team along with the President and COO. This person will oversee a small team in corporate accounting and separate property accounting teams in each division. They will manage close and financial reporting, annual audits, budget creation, corporate tax compliance, maintaining systems and internal/external financial partner relationships.
This position pays a base salary between $90-120k and offers medical, dental, vision, time off and retirement benefits. QUALIFICATIONS SUMMARYSeeking an experienced real estate accountant with either an accounting/finance degree and at least 7 years of progressive experience in line with the position summary above, or 10+ years of hands-on experience in lieu of an accounting degree. Person must have traits that embrace family-oriented values and operate with humility. This is an environment that embraces well thought out and calculated change at a moderate pace.
