CLIENT SUMMARY

Our client is a private equity owned aerospace manufacturer and engineering service provider. With 20+ years in business, the company was formed on a foundation of manufacturing composite parts that are built to print and have nurtured an innovative composite materials testing lab in the last few years. With great capacity and an increasingly diversified customer base, this business with a dedicated ownership group and an industry-tenured CEO is poised for continued growth.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Controller will be the #1 Finance/Accounting person at the company. With a heavy focus on cash flow, some hands-on responsibilities will include improving job costing and inventory tracking while managing one accounting employee. While not a turnaround situation, they will be looking to this person to partner with the CEO on driving revenue growth. This is great opportunity to work daily with the CEO in this position and, in time, work with the PE group’s portfolio of companies.

QUALIFICATIONS SUMMARY

Our client is requiring someone with hands-on experience in an Accounting and Finance leadership role in a small/mid-sized manufacturing environment. It would be very helpful if candidates have QuickBooks exposure and experience building manufacturing processes.
