Brook has over ten years’ experience providing hand-on private and public accounting services to mid-sized and small businesses in a variety of industries including professional services, construction, automotive repair and sales, retail sales, food service, and governmental entities. She possesses a comprehensive knowledge of GAAP, accounting systems, business operations, and taxation combined with an analytical, creative approach to solving problems and prioritizing workload, dedication to success of the team, and flexibility to quickly adapt to changing environments.
 
Prior to joining ASP, Brook performed audits and prepared tax returns in public accounting firms for five years before being recruited to assist in the acquisition, transition, and operation of a bookkeeping and tax practice.  After a successful transition, Brook joined a real estate developer as a hands-on assistant controller.  During her tenure, she was responsible for establishing accounting processes, providing contract analysis and compliance, assisting with securing construction funding, and navigating challenges of jumbo construction projects and pre-opening activities. Over the last several years, Brook has been performing consulting services for several small businesses, which have included serving as a controller for an automotive import and wholesale business.   
 
Brook holds a Bachelors of Business Administration in Accounting from Eastern Washington University, and has an active CPA license in Washington State.
