CLIENT SUMMARY

Our client is a central Washington-based manufacturing firm with multiple facilities throughout Washington and Oregon. POSITION SUMMARY

Reporting to the Controller, the Assistant Controller will be a key member and leader in the Accounting Team that generates the company’s financials.  Other critical functions include maintaining relationships with audit and tax partners, managing the budget process, managing accounting functions and supervising other accounting employees.  This position requires a strong understanding of US GAAP, internal controls and consolidated financial reporting. Simply put, this position is a key member of the company’s GL accounting, financial reporting and control team. 

Position pays between $110-130k and offers medical, dental vision, time off and retirement benefits. 

QUALIFICATIONS SUMMARY

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA or CMA credentials preferred.
  • A foundation of experience in accounting management with emphasis on applied knowledge of US GAAP compliance.
  • Successful leadership experience.
  • Experience leading dynamic group of Accounting professional.  Experience with a similarly sized company is preferred, otherwise, strong desire to move into leadership role.   
  • Impeccable written and verbal communication skills and excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to collaborate successfully in a team environment and lead in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated leadership and project coordination/management
