Ward earned his CPA in 1993 after completing a Master’s degree in Finance and Accounting at the University of Colorado, Denver. After 8 years as a Corporate Accountant and Controller, he became a practicing CPA focusing primarily on partnership tax work. He eventually re-directed his energy to working on financial control and special projects. The nature of these endeavors included ensuring compliance with taxes and regulations, as well as implementing new policies and procedures often with no prior foundation. He excels at analyzing and auditing financial data, recouping any overpaid expenses or taxes. Ward brings to the table an impressive experience portfolio of difficult and complex business situations, which he was able to find workable solutions to all.

Prior to ASP, Ward has worked for companies with annual revenue ranging from $100,000 to $100,000,000, serving in roles such as: VP of Finance, Chief Accounting Officer, Finance Manager, and Bookkeeper. 

Ward is an avid tennis player, a Divemaster scuba diver, and has completed 36 out of the 58 Colorado 14ers summit ascents. He is located in the Denver, Colorado area.
