With over two decades of experience across public, corporate, and nonprofit accounting, Teresa is a seasoned Consultant specializing in full-cycle accounting, multi-state payroll, and audit support and management. Throughout her career, she has worked with organizations across diverse sectors—including technology, professional services, real estate, construction, manufacturing, healthcare, family offices, and education —delivering meticulous reporting and strategic financial clarity.

Teresa’s experience includes more than 11 years working directly for tax, consulting, and nonprofit partners at CPA firms, including top 6 firm RSM US LLP. While there she worked in roles such as Senior Account, Accounting Manager, and Controller for the firm’s clients. Teresa developed an expertise in forensic and reconstructive accounting, having successfully untangled multi-year record discrepancies, rebuilding financial histories following systemic data corruptions, and prepared comprehensive financial statements for high-stakes business sales and mergers. She also excels at software conversions and process automation, consistently optimizing workflows and compliance across multiple systems.

Known for an inquisitive, client-focused approach, Teresa prioritizes active listening and collaboration to guide key business decisions. She holds a Master’s degree from American University and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of California, alongside certifications in QuickBooks Online, Bill.com, and Expensify. Outside of work, Teresa enjoys movies, music, cooking, and whitewater rafting.
