Steve began his career as a university graduate at a mid-tier Chartered Accounting firm in regional Australia. After further post graduate studies and experience, he gained admission to the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia. He spent 6 years as a Tax Manager with his own portfolio of small business clients leading a team of six accountants. A move over to corporate accounting saw him spend two years as a Senior Tax Advisor and Capital Accountant for a major international gold mining company in a remote area of Western Australia.
 
He then traveled and worked around the world for about 9 years.
 
Once the travel bug was satisfied, he re-settled in Seattle in 2009 where he recommenced his accounting career in the USA. He has taken on mostly contract roles as a senior accountant and has worked for businesses ranging from small start-ups right up to Fortune 500 companies. He has worked in numerous industries including banking, online retail brokerage, design services and more recently in biotechnology.
 
Whilst now living and working in Seattle, Steve grew up in Brisbane Australia. There he attended the Queensland University of Technology where he completed a Bachelor of Business (Accountancy Major). In the USA, he earned his Certified Management Accountant designation in 2019. In his free time Steve and his wife like to cook, keep fit, ski, golf and enjoy the Pacific Northwest.
