Shale Edman

Shale is the Recruiting Manager for The ASP Team, bringing over 15 years of recruiting experience to the role since joining in 2025. His expertise in accounting recruitment spans more than a decade and includes work with multiple organizations across various industries. Originally from a small town in Minnesota, Shale holds a BA in Human Resources and Operations Management from St. Cloud State University. He relocated to Colorado in 2010 for a career opportunity and quickly fell in love with the state’s climate; now calling it home for the long term.

​Shale began his professional journey in sales before moving into recruiting with Kiewit, the third-largest construction company in the U.S., where he handled hiring across all departments. He later joined Land Title Guarantee, Colorado’s largest title company, where he led full cycle recruiting across all business units. Most recently, Shale specialized in tax-related roles while working with Oxford Tax Recruiting. His broad recruiting experience and deep understanding of organizational needs make him an asset in connecting top talent with the right opportunities.
 
When he’s not working, Shale enjoys playing racquetball, basketball, and pickleball. He also enjoys watching just about any sporting event.
