Meg is a finance professional with over 20 years of bookkeeping experience. As her professional career evolved, she became a business owner and independent contractor, with industry experience spanning retail and wholesale, hair salons, real estate, attorneys, architects, and nonprofits. She enjoys building client relationships and being part of a team.
She began her career in administrative support and data entry. While working with Honeywell, Meg utilized Oracle software doing customer database management. After Honeywell, an administrative position introduced her to QuickBooks and bookkeeping. Having always loved numbers, Meg found her calling. At Dungeness Environmental, Meg’s role expanded to include administrative support, inside sales, forecasting, pricing, research - both financial and product, as well as all the standard bookkeeping tasks for day-to-day operations. She came to appreciate that an independent, part-time bookkeeper is cost-effective for a small business, mutually benefiting all. Meg is interested in part time, contract, or project-based work, and conveniently located in the Eastside of Seattle. Originally from California, Meg relocated to Washington to pursue her master’s degree. She and her husband fell in love with Seattle and have lived here ever since. Her master’s degree in set design for theatre taught her universal skills needed for any industry, collaboration, task management and allocation, and a strong work ethic. As an almost empty nester, Meg now has time for hobbies such as gardening, tennis, and enjoying the beauty of the Pacific Northwest. |
