Maheen has been in the accounting field for almost 9 years, starting her career in the textile industry. Afterwards, she began working as a bookkeeper with a retail bank in Karachi, Pakistan providing accounting services. Later, she moved to the US where she started off as a Senior Accountant with PA Consulting and Financial Services. She oversaw quarterly and annual reporting, W2s, 1099s, A/P and A/R, reconciliations for multiple accounts, financial reporting, auditing, and payroll.

Prior to joining ASP, Maheen was appointed as an Accounts Payable lead with Deca Dental Group where she was responsible for overseeing the accounts of more than 150 dental clinics around the US, ensuring timely payments of vendor invoices and expense vouchers, maintaining accurate records and control reports. She also managed monthly closing for financial records and posting of month-end information, ensuring accuracy of financial statements. She has experience across many different industries, including but not limited to Health Care, Solar, Restaurant/Bar, Salon, Transportation, Medical Billing, Content Creators, and Textile companies.

In her free time, Maheen likes to explore new vacation spots and dining experiences, as well as spend time with her close family and friends. She works as a seasonal tax preparer with Intuit, helping Turbo tax clients. She is fun loving and thrives on the challenges that come with embarking on new journeys.
