Kimberly has over 20 years of experience as Controller, Accounting Manager, Senior Accountant in venture funded early-stage start-ups to 200M annual revenue publicly traded companies. She is a versatile manager with broad knowledge of all accounting and finance functions, and an ability to clearly communicate financial results, accounting concepts and analysis to business owners and customers.

Most recently, Kimberly was the Controller for Tierra Biosciences, a synthetic biology manufacturer where she implemented Sage Intacct, helped raise Series A financing and helped launch an ecommerce site. Additionally, Kimberly implemented purchasing and receiving procedures to facilitate the transition from research and development to commercial manufacturing. She has managed all aspects of finance and accounting for multiple companies.

Kimberly holds an inactive CPA in California and earned a B.S. in Accounting from Santa Clara University.
