Karen Colbert is an accomplished Accounting Manager and Senior Accountant based in Kirkland, WA, with more than 15 years of experience in corporate accounting, financial reporting, revenue recognition, and accounts payable/receivable management. She has partnered with organizations in healthcare, medical technology, real estate, and manufacturing, helping clients streamline processes, ensure compliance, and deliver timely, audit-ready reporting.

Karen began her career in accounting roles with PM Realty Group and Core Laboratories before advancing into leadership positions at TPC Group LLC, Genoa Healthcare, and most recently, Kestra Medical Technologies, Inc. Her expertise includes ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics D365, Concur, QuickBooks) and advanced analytics tools (Excel, Power BI). She is known for reducing close cycles, improving accuracy, strengthening internal controls, and creating reporting packages that drive informed business decisions.

In addition to her corporate career, Karen is excited to be offering bookkeeping services to clients on a project and fractional basis. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling and exploring new cultures. She has cruised to Iceland, Norway, Belgium, and Alaska, and visited destinations such as Ireland, Italy, Prague, Paris, Switzerland, Germany, Vienna, Budapest, the Maldives, and Tahiti.
