Kandi is a finance professional with over 25 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, and operations. Her interest in finance started early through a love of numbers, puzzles and technology. By age 14 she was running the back office for her dad’s aerial advertising business. She was an early adopter of QuickBooks, shifting away from faxing handwritten invoices to clients. 

Kandi eventually built her own accounting consulting firm when the financial crisis of 2008 hit the US. She was successful supporting small to medium sized business clients across commercial real estate, interior design, retail, and creative industries. She was recruited to an ultra-high net worth family office because of her ability to be discrete, provide innovative technology and systems, establishing procedures for protecting private information, and going the extra mile far beyond her job description. 

Clients often come to Kandi when things feel anxious, overwhelmed, or ambiguous. She focuses on creating structure, improving clarity, and supporting business owners so they feel confident in their financials. Kandi is solutions-oriented, professional and personable. She strives to help business owners and professionals to free up their time to do what they do best, by doing what she does best – handling the back office, financial, and procedural details.

When Kandi is not crunching numbers, you will find her creating collages with found papers and antique ephemera, using mixed media to make abstract art, or taking photos with her vintage cameras.
