Jennifer is an organized, detail-oriented accounting and finance leader with over 20 years of experience, primarily spent in the manufacturing, distribution, and real estate industries. She has worked as an Accountant, Senior Accountant, Controller and Finance Manager. She is a natural self-starter with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. With her extensive experience, Jennifer hopes to help smaller companies with their day-to-day accounting needs, so they can focus on growing their businesses.
 
Prior to joining ASP, Jennifer has been the Corporate FP&A Manager for Harbor Foods Group, a local family-owned distributor where she leads the budget preparation process bringing a large team together collaboratively. She also creates financial models used for regular forecasting and analysis of the day-to-day operations. Prior to that, Jennifer was the Controller at Wilcox Farms, a local family-owned egg farm and food manufacturer where she managed all accounting, finance, and treasury activities. She always viewed her accounting department as a “work in progress,” continually looking for ways to optimize processes and procedures. With her streamlined processes, she was able to reduce the budget completion time by 50% and improved the AR Aging by 10%.
 
Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from California State University, Bakersfield. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, especially camping with her family, walks/hikes, jigsaw puzzles and being her kids’ cheerleader on the soccer fields.
