Anita Kotrlik is a seasoned financial executive with over three decades of experience in accounting, financial strategy, and operations management. She has served in leadership roles including Chief Financial Officer and Controller across industries such as construction, facilities management, and nonprofit services. She has held entry level positions, staff accountant, A/R and A/P management, leading to leadership roles including Controller and Chief Financial Officer across industries such as construction, facilities management, HVAC/Mechanical, construction, and nonprofit services. She has managed the finances of companies ranging in annual revenues of $6MIL to $800MIL.
Anita’s leadership experience includes serving as CFO of REACH, Inc., a large nonprofit organization supporting individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities. There, she managed an $18 million budget, led financial strategy, oversaw IT operations, and worked closely with executive leadership and the Board of Directors while serving on the Executive Finance Committee for the BOD. She managed the annual budget and financial reporting for Services including Assisted Living, Community Psychosocial Therapies, Infant Learning Program, and Case Management; non-profit retail finance and purchasing for The Canvas Art Studio which provided art therapy to clients; and, for profit entities to provide employment for clients that included a commercial shredding business, commercial janitorial services, and a cafeteria. Anita oversaw the compilation of Federal, State, and Local grant application packages, monthly/quarterly/annual grant reporting requirements, and grant award oversight. In addition to her corporate background, Anita brings a unique human-centered perspective shaped by earlier work in family services and counseling support, reinforcing her ability to lead with both analytical precision and empathy. With advanced degrees in business management and human services, Anita combines strong financial expertise with a people-centered approach to leadership. She is currently a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) candidate and is known for her ability to drive organizational growth through strategic financial planning and operational excellence. When not at work, Anita and her husband enjoy motorcycle trips, cooking, and entertaining their German Shepherd. Anita is an avid reader and published contemporary fiction author. |
